Now the Brightest HMI you can plug into the wall, the M18 is a lens-less, open face lighting fixture that combines the desired light distribution from the optics of a PAR and a Fresnel fixture. The unique ARRIMAX reflector design creates diverging rays to produce a crisp shadow.
This light utilizes the same accessories and head cable as the earlier Arrisun 12. Only a new 12/18 Ballast is needed to run this light at 1800w. It can also take a 1200w Lamp and use the standard 575/1200 Ballasts.
The M18 is an 1800W ARRIMAX style lamphead, combining the Academy Scientific and Engineering. Award-winning lens-less optical technology of the ARRIMAX with the innovative True Blue design. The result is an exciting new class of HMI, as small as a 1200W PAR but with a 70 percent higher light output. The BABYMAX gives a remarkably even beam spread that casts crisp shadows and is adjustable from 20-60 degrees without requiring spreader lenses.
